Easy like Giacometti-morning.

Spent Sunday Morning at the Tate Modern. We met up with a professor friend, and a fellow Grenfell VA Alumni and artist Mark Adams in town for a visit.

Had a great time catching over coffee in the Members Room, what a view!

I really enjoyed the show and may actually need to go back and have a longer look if anyone wants to tag along. The breadth of work they have to show is really breathtaking. I was really taken my an etching called ‘luna’ of a disembodied face floating in  the sky above a strange crystal like geometric body(haven’t been able to find an image of it anywhere sadly).

“Through unparalleled access to the extraordinary collection and archive of the Fondation Alberto et Annette Giacometti, Paris, Tate Modern’s ambitious and wide-ranging exhibition brings together over 250 works. With rarely seen plasters and drawings which have never been exhibited before.”
