Play with your food.

I went out today and picked up a few items from my favourite local Korean grocery store, Oseyo in Camden, to play around with some food styling. I was gifted these cute bowls and chopsticks for Christmas and I’ve been meaning to use them as props for awhile now, threw in the kimono for textured filler.

I decided to be adventurous and pick out a few things I’ve never tried before. The pork buns were a win, the pot noodle was a mistake! BBQ pork buns were easy to cook and absolutely delicious! As good if not better than one’s I’ve had at restaurants in Chinatown! The pot noodle is like what I would imagine licking Satan’s asshole would be like; spicy. To be honest the pot noodle tasted alright but it was incredibly spicy and I am so mayonnaise-white I just couldn’t handle it. If you like hot food I highly recommend.

I added a little flash to the noodles when I tabled it; seaweed, carrot curls, green onion, sesame seeds and a drizzle of Sriracha(not that it needed any more spice).

I wish I had take more time and taken more photos but to be honest those pork buns just smelled too good and once I started eating them I couldn’t stop.
