When we first adopted Zelda I wanted to find a collar with a bell for her, however putting a regular collar on a cat is DANGEROUS! DO NOT DO IT! Don’t put a collar on a cat that doesn’t have a QUICK RELEASE!

I spent MONTHS trying to find a collar with a quick release, also called ‘break away’ collars, without much luck. I wanted something in leather, something classic and stylish… because I am that kind of #catmom, and had almost given up home… then I found Cheshire&Wain. They’re a LUXURY brand for sure as most collars will run you 40£ to 60£ for a collar.

I have had to talk myself out of buying Zelda a second one for over a year now. They just dropped a new collection and once again I’m having to talk myself out of ordering one. My daughter deserves to be spoiled. Her current collar is grey  with a ‘Fur Bae‘ charm, and ID tag(she’s also microchipped OBVS) added and tbh she needs a more colourful one for special occasions.

I have this bitter soft spot for collage art. In the final year of my degree I wanted to do my thesis work in collage, however the old white guy who was my assigned to be my mentor(and would be grading my work) straight up said ‘collage isn’t art’… this guy also repeatedly name dropped having hung out with Andy Warhol so the irony wasn’t lost on me. So because I didn’t want to flunk out I completely changed my thesis work… and hated it.

…now while I still love collage, it always reminds me how I didn’t stand my ground in school.

All these works are by Lidwine Titli.

As I’m sure you’ve already read(or not if you’re new) I’m allergic to metals. This means a lot of accessorising options aren’t an option for me. So I am considering getting into hats. Not just your everyday run of the mill(inery) hats, but SERIOUS HATS.

Margaret O’Connor is a spectacular Milliner and the hats they create are stunning. Pretty sure I can’t pull at least one of these off. What do you think?

I’m a little enamoured with this series of painting by Jeremy Jones…

There is something incredibly captivating about the spaces they paint. The not quiet vacant or only just vacated atmosphere has me creating entire stories about the persons who’ve walked through these doors.

I’m sure they’re a sort of ink blot test, what you imagine about this series of paintings says more about you than the paintings or the artist.

How cute is this geometric jewellery by Mustard & Mint? Ok… ok… it’s teething jewellery… like for babies… but since discovering I’m very allergic to metals my jewellery options have been severely limited!

Really though I doubt anyone would clock that these are essentially highly stylish teething rings. Pretty sure I’m going to be ordering one from their ETSY SHOP and working it into a look. Stay tuned.
